Why does everyone blame me :(

Seriously, what game community ISN'T utter shit? You could argue that the majority of the gaming community right now is downright awful, seeing as how it's just a bunch of 12 year olds and 20 something manchildren who just spout memes all day and also grasp at straws.

I was having a rough go in crucible today (could not get 2 heavy kills in one life. . .really not that tough usually), but people kept stealing the ammo when no one else on the team was around. Eventually I got to a point where I was using the Ghorn and got it done. Someone noticed and called me a noob (fair enough). But afterwards they sent this message: "You're still in year 1, kys" Bungie has turned much of this community into elitist pricks. I completed my Moments of Triumph and continue to play Destiny, but for some reason not buying TTK at release means I should kill myself? This is one of the reasons I haven't bought TTK yet. I know there are plenty of members not like this, but it is extremely difficult to just look the other way. I have also played through crucible matches with teammates repeatedly making racist/sexist remarks. I honestly think destiny is getting too big. This is just what multiplayer gaming is becoming. Just look at COD (haven't bothered to play that one in almost 4 years now). I guess all I can say to this is just surround yourself with friends and people you get along with, maybe you won't have to see this dark side of Destiny then. The more people who play, the more toxicity gets let in, so yes it is increasing, and yes it will continue to get worse.
