I am pained to see the start of microtransactions in the beautiful game of destiny, because sooner or later everything will be locked behind paywalls ie shaders, ghost shells, class items. I've seen many games go down this route, they all become worse and eventually pay-to-win
-
As long as they keep it at... Shaders Emotes Sparrows Ships Ghost shells Voice packs for ghosts Emblems I have no problem with cosmetic microtransactions. If you have to buy things to progress quests or character light, that's bad for everyone. But if you already bought redbulls for the focused light and questline, then you've already paid a couple bucks in a way. Now I don't feel bad about the people who used a code generator for those.

If they do it the way Warframe dose it I think it will be fine. Warframe turns out new content each week/month. Because of micro transactions we don't need to pay for it. Also any item that is on the storefront we can get farming in the game. It is up to the player to ither pay for it or farm for free for it.

This is a guardian that can see into the future, of-course Destiny will micro-transaction 'cosmetics' which won't effect the game itself, they wan't to know how we respond. Give it time, way to early for them to introduce more micro-transactions, but it's the route they have started and will keep going down it.
-
But the funds are going towards regular free content expansions to the game. I'm okay with optional cosmetics. Welcome to MMO's.

由Dead General X編輯: 10/6/2015 6:21:29 AMIf it's just cosmetics it's fine. Once they make it so you have to spend real money to get armor, weapons, or anything with perks that will change the game for everyone who has them to those who didn't spend money to buy them, then that's when I drop all support for Destiny forever.

No, no it won't. Bungie stated so. Calm down, breathe, breathe again, now repeat after me. "It's only emotes, it won't effect my gameplay, at all" There you go, better now?
-
And the more you try to explain this to some the more stupid ND stubborn they become. Bump seen many games go down this path.
