Detonating 16 Corrupted Light at Once on Oryx
My fireteam and I were trying to see if we could kill Oryx without detonating any Corrupted Light at all. Everyone was 300+ Light with Touch of Malice and we had 4 Weapons of Light bubbles. Turns out if you try to do that, Oryx regains the favor of the Darkness after you stagger him, and goes completely immune.
We then decided to try and stack as many Corrupted Light as we could and detonate it all at once. Two sets of four Corrupted Light bring Oryx to 50% health, so we waited till we had four sets of four Corrupted Light on the ground before we detonated them. By doing the boss fight this way you completely skip the artillery phase, and goes straight into being teleported and fighting the Shade of Oryx.
It seems that you don't actually have to shoot Oryx once you detonate the Corrupted Light, as the detonations seem to deal all the damage needed to bring Oryx to 0% health. The only time you need to shoot Oryx is to stagger him so he doesn't detonate the Corrupted Light himself, and when he goes to the front of the room after he's already reached 0% health.

3 回覆I heard xbox360 can't handle 16 bombs being detonated at once. Crashes the game and maybe breaks it... This true?

1 回覆So I take it that the enemies (mainly the ogres) can't detonate the blights when they spawn?

1 回覆This won't work on hard therefore useless. I can do both easy and hard mode any strat in my sleep.
