Not trying to start a war, but I just think its funny how people are looked down upon for believing in a God that as humans we can never understand. And yet it is accepted to believe that our universe is an accident or that is has always been there. I just think it makes more sense to believe in an intelligent being with no beginning than believe in an empty univers with no beginning. Science can only go so far, and that's where faith steps in. The fact that faith can be based on different things is what creates the conflicting views. Everything will be settled in the end. Let me also jusy say that this thread was mostly pleasing to read through. Congrats to everyone that can keep an intellectual conversation going.
