Let me start off by saying that I am not bashing Destiny, Bungie, or the player base in any way.
All I am saying is that I'm very disappointed.
I can't buy TTK. Not until Christmas at the earliest, because that's when I get a bonus for being on staff at my church. I'm in the same boat as a lot of people. It's expensive, and I can't afford it.
I really enjoy Destiny, and think it's a quality, fun game. I never bought the other expansions, because they seemed to release at times when I couldn't afford it. Oh well.
My only problem is that you can do almost nothing now, without buying TTK. They've essentially alienated any of the player base who can't afford it.
Even things such as the Year 1 VIP rewards. I got my stuff for having 3 level 30 characters, except I can't do the "Veteran's Tour" quest because I haven't bought TTK yet.
It just seems slightly unfair to exclude anyone who can't buy the expansion.
A game should be fun, and playable, without having to buy more and more things. And I'm not having anything against people that do buy it. I'd be right there with you if I could, but I can't, and so now I can't hardly do anything in this game. It's a tad disappointing.
(P.S.- I apologize if this offended anyone on any level, I promise there is no intent for that. I am simply stating my opinion)
