I do not believe that video games themselves cause violence, but their removal. The media talking about violence is an everyday thing. We rarely see positive things on the news with racial inequality wars, ISIS, etc. I feel like all these issues are avoidable. It just takes global cooperation. EDIT: I didn't realize immediately that when you referred to media, it was movies and all that. Violent movies can have haunting effects on people, but not change them into violent people. I sat through the whole Saw series and found myself appreciating life a bit more, if anything.
