Well you didn't know what you signed up for then, of course there's gonna be progression. Get over your poopy little year 1 equipment and move on.

When I signed on at beta I expected a completed game with a major expansion every other year or so like the major mmo's do (since an mmo is what it feels like Bungie wants half the time despite the box clearly stating the game is an fps) but instead we're getting a chopped up storyline, if you can call it that, a game that CLEARLY was dissected for the sole purpose of cash grabbing pay walls to unlock in-game content already paid for upon purchasing the game at launch, guns and armor which have steadily been nerfed and reduced in quality since launch and a pvp system which seemingly dictates the majority of weapon mechanic changes despite the fact the majority of the playerbase doesn't play Destiny for the pvp elements. I'm sorry but that's just a bad business model and/or hubris by Bungie and I'm all but done with it.

You mention MMO's yet they do this kinda thing regularly. As for grind? Even if they brought old weapons through you'd still be grinding them up, I'd rather get new gear to level up than constantly upgrade the same gun for ten years, that would be a pointlessly stupid grind, yet you want that over variety? I suggest you disconnect you're gaming system from the net and never update a game ever, that way things stay nice and safe and boring as -blam!- for you.

That's not mentioned in anything above, you're complaining about having your old gear become useless to better gear which is how the game works. But think of year 1 as the beta, no other game has really done what destiny has so now that they know what they're doing it should be better

You say better gear but how can you be sure the new items will be better? The base game weapons were better than any of the dlc weapons.

I did not pay $100 for a year long beta which apparently all my grinding means little to nothing. Not getting Taken King as of right now and currently no plans to do so. Fool me once and all that.
