HALO 5 RATED T FOR TEEN
As seen in the beginning of this new console announcement, Halo 5 will be rated Teen. What are your thoughts? Personally I don't care either way.

4 回覆Eh, what disappoints me is that this all but guarantees that the flood will not be returning since that was the reason for the M rating if memory serves. Forgive me if ancient space zombies from precursors who left us a universe we don't fully understand was a bit more interesting to me than "turns out the precursors were just rigid, dickish humans who hate humans because -blam!- them that's why".

2 回覆I don't really care, its still halo. The only thing is i feel that 343 is aiming to make the game a bit more "child friendly." In halo 4, they took out a significant amount of blood in campaign and multiplayer, and they also went about referring to enemies as "bad guys." Its not really a problem, but it feels a bit silly sometimes.

5 回覆Wars [i]was[/i] rated teen. I guess Destiny is showing people that an FPS can get away with a T rating? That's honestly the only thing I can think of. And why are the Elder Scrolls rated Mature? Nothing in those is worse than a Pg-13 film.

5 回覆In all honesty, it was coming. Ever since the original trilogy ended, and the flood no longer was part of the game, the games have barely been M. ODST was only M because it had heavier language, Reach couldn't be T because everyone dies, and Halo 4 could have eked out a T were it not for Cortana boobs.

2 回覆Makes no difference to me. Everything so far is appealing. I don't buy a game based on it's M or T rating etc.

I don't know much about how they rate them, but doesn't the ESRB rate the game, and not the company producing the game? If so, then all that this means is that there's nothing in the game worth making it rated mature, a.k.a. Cortana or the flood
