I usually take the time to read ridiculous long walks of text out of pure curiosity and boredom but I just can't. Anyone that can't come to grips with the fact that Thorn and Last word, as they are now, are obviously overpowered has a few screws loose.
I seriously don't understand why there are still people defending those guns. Whether or not the maps are too small is irrelevant Thorn can still outgun scout rifles and sometimes snipers from ranges that are clearly further than what any hand cannon should be capable of and that's without even touching on its rate of fire and ammo capacity. The Devourer DoT is what makes Thorn exotic but I swear it feels like it burns way too long. Last word can kill ridiculously fast from close to mid range.

Ok troll, I read the WHOLE post and I still feel the same way. I don't agree with OP. Hand cannons should never be capable of long range head shots. Sounds to me like a die hard hand cannon user elaborately trying to defend them in great detail. So in the end sir it is you that looks like the idiot here. How does that make you feel? Angry, maybe a little frustrated?

That was due to even by your own admission you bashed the OP despite not reading it's full entirety and thus assumed it was solely regarding Thorn and The Last Word, whereas it was looking at the bigger picture of HCs in general

Yes but I read far enough to where he claims the range isn't the issue with Thorn, or to be more specific, it isn't the most annoying part. According to OP it's people shooting you twice and hiding. The range is ridiculous plain and simple. Although I don't agree with a lot of the changes that will be implemented in weapon patch 2.0 I do appreciate how Bungie is at least attempting to make each weapon class fit a specific range. That's obviously the way it should be. When hand cannons can out gun scout and sniper rifles there's clearly a balance issue. What part of that can't people understand?
