Hello. Exotic weapons are obtained in two ways: 1) a random drop from crucible, vanguard strikes, Prison Of Elders, Raids, and legendary engrams. Or... 2) bought from xur. My suggestion to you is to run all prison of elders, raids, and do some strikes in your spare time. Also make sure you have enough strange coins saved up in case xur decides to sell it! Good luck!
