Maybe they'll be coming out with a new and better "black hammer" and "ice breaker" and "Gjallarhorn"! Ever thought about that??
It would make sense too since it'd give incentive to play and buy the taken king (which is in line with Bungie's logic).
I'd wait and see before complaining and deleting accounts....

2 回覆There are lots of new weapons coming. All with terrible perks and nowhere near as good as vault of glass gear back in the day... ~drum roll~... Which they're not allowing to be ascended after the nerf. Enjoy!

1 回覆If you have to nerf existing to make new guns better then they aren't actually better.

1 回覆由Matsudaira編輯: 7/21/2015 5:40:24 PMOr maybe they're nerfing to make those "better" alternatives look better than they are. The shittiness of the HoW weapons tells me that's likely the case.

2 回覆Bungie hasn't designed a good weapon since vanilla other than black hammer. They ran out of ideas

1 回覆Still a problem it should be the players choice which weapon they want to be using not bungies. That has been there biggest downfall in this game forcing players into certain or away from certain weapons.

1 回覆They already came out with the better weapons! They have dreg and shank BURN. WOW....gonna rip thru nightfalls now.

1 回覆由Gooseumz編輯: 7/21/2015 2:59:30 PMWell yea, of course that's what their doing. it's because they realized how bad HOW and that other shit dlc weapons are. now they want the TK weapons to look ballin so it reels you back in.

5 回覆In no way does that make sense. If they're coming out with better stuff why ruin the old stuff? Shouldn't the new stuff not have to have the bar lowered?
-
4 回覆Well that's a problem with a game like this. In Magic the Gathering we called it the power creep. As new iterations of the game are released, the power level needs to be expanded and the bar moved higher to keep the game exciting and interesting. Perceived value is effected, no one but collectors will chase a new gun or piece of armor if an old piece they have is more effective. The difference here is that Wizards of the Coast (Magic's governing body) does not nerf cards when they are amazing. They make enough amazing cards that there are enough different options to pick from. That way, when one strategy actually dominates, it really is a problem, because its made all the other amazing cards weak in comparison. Black Hammer, Ice Breaker, and Gjallahorn do not fit this level of scrutiny because nothing else exists to rival it. So rather than make other, awesome things, or more dynamic fights that require different strategies, Bungie has elected to nerf everything into sameness. This eliminates the feeling of power, or specialness that those weapons held, and will ultimately chase a lot of older players away from the game. Its not a well designed game. Its grindy and repetitive. Making that grind harder is only hurting the game state in the long run. And if they are releasing new alternatives, they should be up to level of the old guard, not nerf the old guard down to their level.

1 回覆If that is the case then it's horrible! Then the weapons from TTK will be nerfed before the next expansion.

1 回覆Let me ask you this, why would i want newer better alternatives if they are just going to eventually nerf them anyway? What's the point to keep grinding through this game for loot that is going to be nerfed and unable to be ascended within the next year?

1 回覆Even if they do that it's bullshit. Make better weapons instead, and make the boss's more than bullet sponges.
