Not bring it up to Gally's power, but closer. Enough to where players aren't shunned for not having it. That's the biggest reason it's getting nerfed. Kinda brought it on ourselves for locking out people without a Gally.

Or they can make better weapons each release like they should have been doing consistently from vanilla. This would make the game be what it was supposed to be.
