Currently fusion rifles are a subpar class of weapon. Only the Plan C is viable in PvP. Fusion rifles have enough range to counter the sniper shotguns but their charge rates prevent them from being effective at this. So, Fusion rifles will never ever be as effective at killing as a shotgun, therefor they have to have something special to make them worth using. I propose that they be made to effect respawns and revives. A 5-10 second delay to respawns and it could prevent ally and self revives when killed with a fusion rifle. This would give fusion rifles a whole new utility in the Crucible and would make them a force to be reckoned with in 3v3 game modes.
