On the story portion of your rant. This game has a 10 year plan. Thus far we've seen 1/10 of the story.

由Talidin1337編輯: 7/3/2015 4:04:10 PMI guess that's true. I don't see this as a bunch of small DLCs on a base game, where a second base game will be created later with it's own DLCs (like every other AAA game does), I see Destiny as being a single base game, with a bunch of minor DLCs, and occasionally a really big Major Content Expansion. If you even look at the leaked photo (which is completely subject to change) you will see the same story: Base game, DLC 1, DLC 2, Major Expansion 1, DLC 3, DLC 4, and if the pattern continues... Major Expansion 2, DLC 5, DLC 6, Major Expansion 3, and so on for 10 years. The Major Content Expansions are as big as the Base game of Destiny. If TDB and HoW did not exist, TTK would literally double the content of the base game. The reason you do not see it as I do is because you are stubborn enough to think that Destiny is going to develop just like any other game out there. Destiny is the first game of it's kind not just because it's an MMO RPG FPS, but because it follows this plan. Instead of making a game franchise similar to a Movie series like every other game, Bungie is making a franchise similar to a long running TV show. Each Major Content Expansion in a new Season in the series. That was their original plan, and that's what I've seen thus far. There's a reason why TTK alone equals the price of TDB and HoW combined, it is not a tiny expansion. It's a very big deal.

Although that may be their plan, the introduction was garbage. If they had 10 years of storyline to unfold why would they put little to none in a $60 game? I mean why put so little in the first installment and charge us 60 up to 100 bucks for it and new "dlc"?!?!

They have a 10 year story. Look at World of Warcraft how many DLCs have they put out. I'll agree that its not the same scope of content but it is the same basic principle. We have the universe and setting. They've started adding now.

both of which fail miserably, Angry Joe's review pretty much nailed it on every point. The "10 year plan." is No excuse for the lack of story and content at release, this game at release with the expansion pass is nothing short of wallet -blam!-, courtesy of Activison
