Just had 3 games in Iron Banner
1st one was vs 5 thorns. 2nd one was ok. And now on my 3rd 5 out of 6 enemy players spammed shotgun and blink.
I just got from work and wanted to chill and have some fun games. Instead I have to concentrate to stand chance againts this cheapness.
EDit 1: A lot of people hating on me which is not a suprise. I found that all the people who hate tho are really bad at crucible or at least below average. I have nothing wrong with that... HOWEVER don't defende a gun we all know is broken. It requires 3 body shots to kill, has sniper range, faster ROF than hawkmoon which requires 2 hs + body shot to kill. Going to add the really slow health regen for opponent as well.
And no., I don't have problem countering it. I don't use THorn or blink and shotgun. I'm doing fine without this shit.

1 回覆Though the Thorn and blink shotgun problems are evident, in Iron Banner, power matters. The strongest rule, the best players win. It's supposed to be competitive. It's not a place to relax and have some chilled fun. That's what regular crucible is for

Had a match yesterday where 5 of the enemies were on a fireteam and unkillable. Would hit them with 4-6 hawkmoon shots and watch their health not fall at all. After dying repeatedly without being able to even damage these guys I left the match.

9 回覆I use Thorn and generally I get killed by everything BUT Thorn, and when I die from Thorn, it is usually by other weapons + Thorn. The only bad thing I saw last night was a prevalence of people going Red Bar to gain massive leads. All were reported.

1 回覆Cheap is lag switching or running modded controllers/ keyboard & mouse. Using in game content the way it was designed is not cheap. Messenger,tlw,nlb,red death,bad juju,vex, hawkmoon and others can go up against thorn no problem. If someone is using blink, run&slide as soon as they disappear and they will blink past you. Now either run or turn and blast 'em. Losing team doesn't get shit so show up prepared to win. Jump on twitch or YouTube and watch strategy of successful players.[spoiler]crying on the forums is not gonna make gameplay more fun[/spoiler]

I didn't see any of this last weekend in regular crucible. But in Trials, that's another story. Would people cheat in IB, why? Or is this just Destiny's shitty servers?

2 回覆I use thorn in trials but I don't like it, kills with it don't feel rewarding, it's kinda cheap and easy, shotguns just annoy me as the range is to much on some of them. During the trials this week I was killed by a matador from a crazy range, my dead teammates saw it and could not believe it. I'm sure bungie will address these problems sooner or later. They nerfed suros so they are gonna get thorn too

I'm not very good at pvp and rely a lot on Thorn for kills. But since IB started I have ascended my Time on Target and I haven't used Thorn since. My IB k/d is about 1.2 which for me is really good. I think Thorn can be retired to the Vault. Even though I love it, it is ruining pvp.

1 回覆Don't be sad if you win 1 out of 6 matches your not loosing anything - medallions make ur points up bruh ... I use my warlock void walker w. Blink fell winter and thorn - because - I was sick of dying to them - now I am the thorn with the sniper scope on my shotty - feels good

2 回覆I use the thorn and I saw a lot of Mida. I very rarely died from thorn. Mostly died by Mida tonight.

1 回覆Why put up a lag tag? You didn't complain about lag...you just don't like the weapons people are using. I don't know if IB is the pvp mode that will help you relax after work.

3 回覆There's no room for fun in IB. That's what crucible is for. Although to be fair that's riddled with Thorn too. The only cure for Thorn users is a shotgun to the face.
