So I was playing IB today with a team and we were on a roll. Good communication, playing to win, assisting one another. It went so well that myself and another teammate both got our first marks of the unbroken. Now I'm big into the community and YouTube videos and all that good stuff, but my teammate had no idea what the mark meant. The conversation went like this: Teammate: "what's mark of the unbroken?" Me: "you had no deaths, and congrats man!" Teammate: "oh sweet, is it a cool mark?" Me: "no it isn't a Titan mark." Teammate: "so what do I get for it?" *whole team gets quiet* Me: "well, you get...that medal" Teammate: "oh. Laaaaame." So this whole exchange got me thinking. I may be wrong, and I'm happy to hear your opinion. I think getting Mark of the unbroken is a pretty uncommon achievement. I feel like if something was guaranteed, at least a really cool unbroken class item or something, then a lot more people would play their hearts out in crucible. That or it'd become a no death camp off. I'm not sure. That's why I pose it to you forum. Thoughts on rewards for the unbroken! Is it a tough medal to earn? Is getting NO rewards for the match after going unbroken fair? What do you think?
