There's an interview on Kotaku with Luke Smith (obviously done before his "throw money at the screen" interview) where the question of nerfing Thorn and buffing ARs came up. Basically his answer was that different weapons had their "seasons" of greatness, but it didn't sound like there was any chance of ARs coming back to their former glory. Interesting interview, worth a read if for no other reason than to see just how little they're willing to share about TTK or really any future plans at all. But kinda depressing for anyone looking for ARs to ever be relevant again.
