Etheric Light

200 Vanguard marks for 1 Etheric Light
200 Crucible marks for 1 Etheric Light
This would have an automatic weekly cap since you can't earn 200 a week.
Boom. Best idea ever made. Bring it.
EDIT: I want to thank everyone for their support for this idea. Even the people who disagreed politely. I have no illusions that this idea will ever be implemented, but it's still nice to see that I'm not the only person here who thinks this could work.
Thanks again for the support and keep bumping and liking this post.

But the scrapping of etheric light and reforging are two of the biggest misses on behalf of Bungie. Strange coins and Motes of light will at some point also be replaced by "Strange motes" or "Coins of light" or something along those lines. It feels like we're still beta-testing and every four months major changes are coming. :-S

Nah it's plentiful the problem is lack of matchmaking in the 32 and 34 Poe. I can carry kids through easily except for quodron sometimes without speaking. This would make other than skolas a much easier affair and less time wasted finding groups. This would then give you more time to practice and attempt trials. I am very annoyed they are removing etheric light when they have no use for it yet. I still have plenty to ascend to the year one max I intend to keep and dot want to have to scramble now to do it

Good idea. Still though, not really sure if Etheric Light will be relevant when ttk drops; and if it is, they probably won't implement it. It is a good idea that, imo, could definitely work for those who struggle to get it.
