An open letter to luke smith
I have read your interview with eurogamer
I thought you was a complete and utter "asshat" as you put it.
I have read you pathetic attempt to claw it all back.
And after reading it, guess what...

Apology if fine....but Not buying TTK it costs more than the actual game I bought day one. Im over paying full price and being locked out of content. Its total bullshit. Its not sony paying for more content...its sony paying to make the experience inferior on their competitor's console. Love the game, but im not waiting another year to have a chance at getting something I paid the same amount of money for that others can have at release. Im in Australia for those that say $40 is not the same as $60.

He's a cool guy. Sarcastic as hell and he has personality within Bungie. Everyone makes mistakes and for the last time he is NOT a PR guy. If I had to talk on behalf of a company, I would probably mess it up too and try to have a conversation rather than treat it like an interview. That would be especially true if we were talking about a game I had a hand in designing and that I'm passionate about.

5 回覆So he said some things that might have come across as arrogant in an interview. He sincerely apologized for it. All square in my book. There's a new trend where people on social media like to crucify anyone who says something vaguely inappropriate. It's a terrible terrible trend.

3 回覆I'm really happy he said he acted like an asshat. I really enjoy that term thoroughly. Most of us who aren't idiot desticles know that Lukems is a stand up kind of guy, with an arrogant douchey endearing side; he's talented. That tends to be an archetypal personality pairing. Take things more lightly; Bungie handled this PR debacle well, they actually made a decent change, and luke smith is still more talented than you likely will ever be irrespective of how much of an asshat he choses to act like.

4 回覆I can't believe Luke apologized to a bunch of whiny entitled twats such as yourself. He might have said things that didn't translate well into text, but look at the filth the community has writen today. If throwing money at my screen would have actually worked, you better believe I would be makin it rain. What he said was funny, and people acted like he crucified Christ himself.
