Hunters are just about useless on their own in PvE compared to any other class on their own. So the only "lone wolf" that makes sense is in PvP. That being said, all the "support" features of warlocks and titans you speak of probably the warlock sunsinger and the titan bubble. These supers are capable of dominating games offensively just as well as the golden gun and blade dancer and they do not entail any abilities that directly kill the enemy. You do not have to directly kill an enemy with your super just to stick out or be a lone wolf. There are far more ways to dominate. If anything, the nightstalker class makes the often thought of as usless hunters stick out even more and builds their in game reputation across Destiny
