I am probably the weirdest and craziest player in Destiny. I have discarded many good exotic weapons and only kept the worse. It has gotten to be noticed by my friends that I hardly use or keep any really good exotic (like red death, thorn , last word, etc etc...) and they only see me using the worse weapons. I have been bringing No Land Beyond (my favorite 😄) and Hard Light in to pve and pve all the time. Not only that I have been using unwilling soul 09 too. I love low tier exotic weapons so much that I dismantle my Gjallarhorn and use the shard from it and level up my Dragon Breath to 365. I told my friends about and they all flipped out like I was some monster (which was really funny 😂) and they told did I lose my mind. I know some of you will call me a idiot (which I don't mind) but I didn't regret it at all and it felt good seeing my low tier exotic all 365 damage. Nothing better than hearing a player commenting (or mocking) you having a 2 two 365 NLB 😆.
