I've never been on a raid. It's a combination of lack of interest and a short, fairly inflexible schedule for gaming (married dad with a job). Nevertheless, I'm starting to perceive my lack of elemental primaries as a serious handicap in L34 and L35 Prison of Elders (and an irritating one even in Nightfalls, especially against the Hive). And since my 1.13 all-time K/D isn't likely to earn them through Trials of Orisis, the Vault seems like the obvious place to look: Fatebringer, Vision of Confluence, and Vex Mythoclast all drop there, and any of the three would make a big difference. So what's the best way to go looking for a group that's willing to take a complete noob through the Vault on Hard Mode, preferably Friday or Saturday night between 8 and 10pm Central? I can bring a L34 Sunsinger with max Gjallarhorn, which ought to mean I can contribute even if I don't know the course yet. I play on 360, and my gamertag is the same as my forum handle here.
