I've seen a lot of posts on the forums since HoW came out and a lot of bragging from 34s. I only have 3 33s, I have the light to ascend, just choose not to right now. Didn't have time to play last week so only got a couple hours in. Didn't do any of the raids. So I was playing crota hard with my 33 hunter, blast through to the boss and can't believe how easy crota is now and smash him. Go to do it with my Titan and we have 3 34 hunters in the group. We got to crota and the 3 34s say they have never run sword. 2 flat out refuse but one guy steps up to the plate, I give him some tips and after maybe 5/6 wipes he manages. I was astounded with 32s in VOG who didn't know how to run relic and laugh when I now see 33+ only. PoE is the same, I've managed the 34 PoE with a 32 without too much drama last week (actually thought it was tougher with 33s this week. Yes you may batter on about the damage increases/decreases etc, we all know that. But I'm sorry, I'd rather have someone who is at the level of the raid or one or two under, than a 34 who doesn't know how to do things. Someone who understands the mechanics of the game is a far better player than someone who has amassed the gear but doesn't have the skill to back it up. TL:DR; don't be a level elitist. You can only be an elitist if you actually know and can do the important jobs in this game.
