People, Babies do not equal planes. I tell you this because I am on one. I bought wifi for my flight and a baby is behind me. It is a screamer. My question is, Why? If you have a baby you shouldn't be taking a trip. You should be at home caring for it, not going on vacation. It's just my biased opinion however, so what are your thoughts on the greatest of all evils, babies on planes?
I'm going to attempt to nap, should the baby now kill me

Sometimes babies need to go places man! It's not their fault that people are afraid of them and make them cry.

I always thought that too. Even at restaraunts, I wonder why parents bring their babies or gaggle of toddlers with them. The kids dont want to be there. Leave them with a sitter or something.
-
Give me a video of a baby on a plane, and I will give you a great argument for fitting roof racks to them.
-
Babies annoy me in general when they scream and cry around me. However, I have to understand that it wasn't the intention of the parents. Unless it's a newborn, the baby should be fine to travel with its parents. Good luck on getting your nap.

There are several places you just shouldn't bring a baby, eg: A nice restaurant (not talking about Chili's or anything but something that $50+ a plate), a movie theater, weddings, etc. However a plane is not one of those "forbidden" places. I do my best to avoid taking my son anywhere that he would disturb someone (ie: somewhere I don't want a baby around) but sometimes people other than yourself need to go places. I for one would much rather take a 2 hour plane ride somewhere with my child vs a 6+ hour car trip. Grow up and think about something other than just yourself.

由qoslsnsmqaaksk編輯: 5/6/2015 9:09:10 PMI kind of agree...babies can be taken on planes if they keep shut lol. This one time I took a flight and there was a dog on the plane. He/she didn't make any noise the whole time.

I once was on a plane with a baby who never kept his mouth shut for the whole trip.
THE WHOLE TRIP
And the parents were asleep for the whole trip
THE WHOLE TRIP
And I didn't get a chance to sleep for the whole trip.
THE. WHOLE. TRIP.
But the worst thing:
It was a 9 hour trip
9 HOUR TRIP

由Bharat Sahota編輯: 5/6/2015 8:53:42 PMMy son is pretty well behaved, even on airplanes. He's 5 and has already been to 6 different countries. He interacts well with others. In my opinion, (I'm going from my own experience, maybe I'm just lucky or something) most of the time, if the baby is crying, there's obviously a problem and the parents need to take care of it, whether it's food, drink, sleepy time, toilet time, illness, interaction, whatever. Some of these replies seem too unfair. Don't blame the child. Focus on the carer.

If someone isn't smart enough to use a condom or pull out, you can't expect them to be smart enough to travel without a baby. UPS makes an $8 flat rate ship anywhere box. It just happens to be the perfect size for a mistake. I mean baby.

If it's constant ask them to calm it down if it's a certin moments like when it's hungry ignor it

Oh, look, a baby. These next five hours'll be great. Oh, it's crying. Awesome. Maybe I can block the noise. SHUT THE -blam!- UP SHUT THE -blam!- UP SHUT THE -blam!- UP So I guess I can't block the noise. Good to know. *checks watch* Oh, It's only been an hour. Yay.

You can't take a vacation with a baby?? What about bringing the baby to meet his grandparents or what if you have cabin fever and your husband booked a vacation to save your sanity! I am sorry a baby is disturbing you on the flight but think about the parents they can't take breaks unless they cover for each other or a sister mom or friend helps. It is 24/7 for them! Anyway babies are cute, some noise won't hurt you :)
