I know that tons of folks have posted about missing the "old Randal the Vandal," and now I'm joining that group... I have just a quick story for you. This evening, I was working on the Patrol Cosmodrome bounty with my 32 Sunsinger Warlock. I picked up a "scan the environment" mission and quickly realized where it was leading me... That's right, it was leading me straight to Randal. As I approached, I actually found myself a bit nervous. My head told me that he'd been nerfed and that my self-rez (aka crutch) was ready to go for the fight. Also, I had full heavy and special ammo. In spite of this little internal pep talk, my heart felt only one thing... Fear. Alas, the time had come to battle. I hopped off my sparrow and began unloading my Fang of It Yût, landing precision hit after precision hit. Then, just as quickly as it began, it ended... Randal, in his weakened state, was no match for me. Instead of feeling pride and accomplishment, I only felt sadness and disappointment. I missed the days of needing a fireteam to vanquish the toughest foe in the solar system... Just thought I'd share, hoping someone else can identify.
