the only problem I have with a neutral drop zone is say all 12 people go for it. everyone dies except one. that one person shouldn't have all the glory.
I personally think revives should be enabled only while heavy ammo is available.
this would prolong the gun fight and enable more teammates the opportunity to attain the drop.if your whole team dies you've lost the right.
your proposal eliminates the desire to wait for a teammate due to urgency in claiming it.
you have a good idea and it's a worthwhile discussion.

He could choose to hold it down for his team to respawn and establish control. That's the point. There's a lot more nuance to the encounter if the teams are fighting over it as compared to when players are simply handed heavy ammo at static intervals.

由unspoken threats編輯: 4/10/2015 10:43:22 PMeven when there's no looming threat greedy players take it. now you've got six enemies approaching you taking them half the time to get there due to it's neutral positioning and your response is "hold it down." you don't seem to take constructive criticism. you'd rather 1/12, 2/12 or 3/12 have it instead of the normal 8/12, sometimes more though sometimes less. at least temporary revives would add distinct decision making. a player must decide if it's worth respawning or entrusting his/her teammate to not die to bring them back to life. I also think there should be an ability to share your heavy ammo. if you were late to the party because of a selfish player maybe someone who was there will spot you. like I said, I think it's a good idea but I see flaws that need worked out. sorry if my evolution of your idea isn't cohesive enough with your ideals.
you don't seem to take constructive criticism.
I think you mistook my legitimate question as me getting defensive. It's understandable, considering just entering these forums tends to get people in that aggressive/defensive frame of mind. Let me assure you I'm super good at taking constructive criticism. I don't think your idea is bad. I hadn't considered it. Honestly, though, I think teammate revives should be a constant in not only Crucible but in all PvE modes, as well. I think it's weird how Bungie arbitrarily deactivates that setting. It's a fundamental element of this game's gameplay ... except when it isn't. So yeah, I could see your idea being on the table. I would be skeptical that Bungie would consider it, though, and I make that guess just based on what I've seen them do over the last six months with this game. The bottom line for me is I feel like Crucible needs a ton of work.
