I think Destiny desperately needs a way to switch your weapon load out faster!!Mainly the primary slot, Im not sure how Bungie could do this but the arrow buttons aren't used a whole lot so that could be a way. This is an issue because enemies shields require a different damage type and you don't want to be going into your inventory during the middle of a fire fight to swap your hand cannon for a pulse rifle, for example, by Bungie making this change i think it would improve the weapon balancing because you just go for the best all around gun and just stick with that and never change it, but with the recent auto rifle nerf i find myself going into my inventory scrambling to equip my scout rifle for a long range enemy! With this change people would be using all the different types of weapons during a mission or in pvp for different types of enemies and at different ranges, please bungie make this happen, you will save yourself a lot of nerfing and patching by doing this!!!
