NEW EDIT: He is selling a blue scout rifle with the perk "Shooting any type of ammo picks it up". Ends midnight EST. I know some people couldn't pick one up last time cause of being away.
This is not a troll. He's got a green Scout Rifle called Jigoku SR3 with the perk "Shooting any type of ammo picks it up". Its very convenient for picking up that elusive Heavy ammo pack that dropped from a Boomer during the Crota encounter, or even during the Oracle/Templar fight of the Vault of Glass (Hobgoblins on the elevated blocks often troll you with heavy ammo drops).
I believe the gun is available for another 2 hours and 15 minutes (midnight E.S.T.)
Just save a copy on your character and you'll no longer have to give up cover for a resupply. Swap in, shoot, swap out! Now only if it could revive fallen team-mates ;)
Hopefully this is of use to some. I definitely picked up 3!
EDIT: Only 10 minutes left before he takes off. Several guardians were not able to pick it up. I encourage any and all to keep an eye on the Gunsmith's wears, and spread the word if you see this or blue fusion rifles come up :)
EDIT 2 Props to ScribeTheMad for sharing this link for blue fusion rifles

1 回复In case you didn't know, the most important feature of a shoot to loot gun is that it lets you basically fill your entire heavy reserve ammo by shooting the same ammo pack multiple times. The pack has a despawn timer of about 2 seconds that starts after you shoot the ammo pack for the first time. Continued shots before it despawns will continue to give you ammo. This is incredibly useful in CE hard mode. 2 different gun types have the "shoot to loot" perk on them, scout rifles and sniper rifles. They can be found in roc strikes, the crucible, and occasionally at the gunsmith. They are green or blue quality only, no legendaries. The scout rifle is preferable for 2 reasons. One, it is much easier to get consecutive shots on the same ammo pack, and two, it's fairly safe to leave it equipped for the duration of the Crota fight (after your team clears out the first room). There's not a whole lot that you'll need to kill with your primary, but having your favorite sniper at the ready is fairly important. Not to mention, if it's a blue scout rifle, you'll be able to get 297 damage when it's maxed (almost the damage of VoC). Finally, finding a "shoot to loot" scout rifle that has exploding rounds on it is like gold. You'll be able to loot all ammo that the explosion touches and it's much easier to land consecutive shots on the same ammo pack from far away. If you're worried about accidentally deleting yours because of it's color, make sure to fully upgrade it so that it has a yellow outline around it. Another tip is to move it around in the item slot to a location in the middle of all your legendaries. You'll be less likely to screw up. Good luck!

I keep a Jingoku w/Shoot & Loot AND a rare sniper w/Shoot & Loot perk on each character. They aren't worth anything in PvP; however, they are worth ten times their glimmer value in PvE. You can get either in an RnG drop pretty regularly... it pays to look at the greens & blues BEFORE you shard them. With both of these AND either Icebreaker or Invective in your inventory you'll NEVER be out of the ammo you need. Out of heavy AND secondary??? Just switch to IB or Invective, regen a few rounds, switch to a Shoot & Loot Sniper and nab that heavy. They come in REAL HANDY in a Nightfall or a Heroic Strike ESPECIALLY when the Juggler modifier is on.
