Are ruin wings broken?
I keep hearing rumors that ruin wings are broken and drop the same heavy ammo as normal or less ammo then normal. Is there any solid proof that confirms or denies this?

I think they work as intended. You get a lot more heavy ammo when you pick up the purple ammo box. Also, you do get heavy drops more often. If it was constantly dropping heavy ammo, that would be more than they were designed to do.

They're not broken. They just increase your chances of heavy drops. If you aren't getting much heavy drop it's just bad luck. Can't even believe how much heavy I leave behind using those. And not only does it increase drops rates, they increase the amount picked up. So one drop is about 4 or 5 rockets as opposed to 1 or 2 without them. It's an amazing piece of armor. Not to mention it just looks insanely good and goes with any shader.

I've had purple rain after equipping saint while still having increased agility from raid boots after dropping the sword over 10min ago.

2 回复They are definitely broken. I have heard that you can unequip them and re-equip them and it will help but I dont really find that it does. I was trying to get them for a long time because i heard that you could basically use your heavy as a primary due to the large amounts of heavy ammo drops. Instead ...... huge disappointment.

Other than that, I can't prove random things, but it seemed odd to me that on this week's Nightfall I had it equipped and it took me A LOT of kills until I saw heavy ammo drop...and that was only one pack.

For me they always work. With my hunter I get to max my launcher once with ammo. With my Titan I can be wasteful if I want. Even if the drop thing somehow doesn't work for you, (it does work just people want MOAR), there is still the fact of picking up more ammo per box. With what I'm wearing my exodus plan can hold seven rockets so each ammo box I walk over gives me 4 rockets... Think about that for a moment
