I see what your saying and thanks for your input. But I kindly disagree I have seen people far lower levels as well as time spent on the game. Get far more bounties and loot than me. And I know this to be true for other people as well. Which is why I don't believe it to be rand and actually certain people have a better chance to get the good stuff based on an odd mechanic by bungie. Quick question did you happen to get and special edition package when you bought the game? Also thank you for your contribution im hoping this thread gets bigger so more people will ATLEAST take notice and formulate there own hypothesis and maybe bungie will set the record straight once and for and actually prove how it's random or set to a level or allotted amount of time.

I only have the regular edition. I was specifically talking about exotic weapon bounties as I said in my post. I wasn't referring to loot in general. But the more time put in does equal more chances at drops, wether you have luck with it or not.
