I received it when I killed a Blade of Crota in the Cosmodrome tonight. See the link.

I was in the Forgotten Shore in the Cosmodrome and killed a Blade of Crota. It appeared like a reward for competing a strike on the right side of the screen. There was not an icon I had to run over to pick it up. I did have the wax idol active, yes. I also completed the Eris bounty for three blades with that kill.
