I have a different angle, why didn't they just up the stats of gear dropped from the vault after the DLC to vendor level? I would have been happy to continue doing that raid again for comparable gear, it would have added aesthetic diversity, and most importantly it would have given anyone who hasn't done the vault yet a reason to do so!! As it stands the only people going in there anymore would be for a chance at the exotic chest and a chance for an exotic from atheon...

I would suggesst the following. I will do it for every upcoming raid and refer it to the VoG because it was the first one available. To obtain the current max light level you either need: - The new raid gear or - The new raid gear, dismantle it for (example) raid core - VoG gear Add the raid core to the VoG gear to up its light level to the max.
