Yes. That's how it works.
Once you have the best armour there will be no point buying anything from the vendors.
I'm sure my vanguard marks will simply sit at 200 and not get used.

Yeah i could, but with only being 2 or so months into a game that is expected to be around for a much longer time, it would be nice to have something different in the next couple of months. I would end up getting to the same point i am now when creating other classes anyways.
