Supposedly the updated Iron Banner event will offer gear that's equivalent to Raid gear.
That being said, why would you need to be at maximum level if you're not playing the Raids? I thought it was the Raid missions on hard that require such high levels.

Yeah it definitely is. I was going to try again this week but after reading the comments on this thread I just thought. What's the point in slaving away every week and getting nothing when I can just wait 3 weeks for the sweet iron banner goods and get my level 30s that way.

Really, well half the fun comes from the people you play with so find a good group of friends and I'm sure you will all enjoy your time, even if it is ended with 46 wipes from atheon or any of the other things that cause wipes in the raid.

Yeah. You're totally right there. Annoying thing is the friends who still play all group up and do it every Tuesday when I'm busy and are never up for doing it again (since no loot) or want to just do hard mode so I'm left searching online for random people to raid with. trust me when I say it's less fun with a pug than with actual friends ;(

Oh man I trust you there, however I often times find myself leading groups through, new or experienced, and should you be on Xbox 360 is be more than happy to help you through the normal, however this week I need to beat atheon on hard, I want the hard loot double drop from atheon, then I'll raid with just about anybody this week. Btw gt is the same as this name if you are on 360.
