What is a heroic modifier? Didnt get credit for sword of Crota bounty and assuming thats why

The nightfall missions are a much more difficult strike mission that are a weekly reset that have much harder enemies and mission modifiers (skulls). They have unknown rewards so they could drop exotics and a bunch of legendaries. The current one is a level 28 nightfall strike on Devils lair. :)

The heroic bounties and heroic modifiers are applied when you ramp up the difficulties on the missions. so for example chose a mission you want and then when the difficulty comes up select a higher one and it should most of the time have the heroic modifier. the modifier themselves look like skulls that will appear next to the mission name after you have selected the mission. :)
