And you know what else.
There is a game that already tried the Proximity Chat thing.
It was a game called Fable 2 and Fable 3.
And you know what.
Maybe... 1 out of 1000 people would actually be talking at any given moment.
Think about that.
A Game with Proximity chat catered to these Filthy Casuals you are all so worried about (Fable is a Casual game).
And yet it proves you all wrong in your assumptions of what you think proximity chat will become.
And you know what, the people who played games like Fable, are the same people who played games like Halo the same people who are going to play games like Destiny.
Everything,
The No MM for Raids, you fight it based on assumptions.
The lack of Private matches, you fight it based on assumptions.
The Proximity chat. Nothing but assumptions.
Until you people can actually prove that these things would "Interfere" with your enjoyment, STFU!
Agreed and bungie has stats to prove how many people played in private matches and it was a ton.
People also creating new game types like Griff ball that got picked up and put into play lists.
Bungie knows better than anyone why private matches are needed as they virtually made them.
They will be added to the game.
horrible example... absolutely horrible. lol. good games... but why not use halo 3 matchmaking as an example? proxy chat against the other team was amazing.
