Level cap is most likely 20 , what you are seein there ie lvl 21 or 27 .... Is an armor that allows you to bAttle at a higher level .... Gear that lvls you up as you wear it known as "light" watch Dattos video about the tower and gear

Datto's past couple videos have been speculative garbage. Especially the one where he goes over gun stats. Motes of Light are earned by "[u]continuing[/u] to earn xp after 20". We have seen [u]recent[/u] videos and screen shots where we have seen guardians and enemies level 20+. Light doesn't grant you levels. It allows you to do damage against higher level enemies. Like armor/magic penetration do in other games.

Well yeah, though he does make a good point ..., the speaker does has a scroll over for motes of light .... Motes are gained after hitting level cap ...... But we could be wrong I do hope lvl cap is higher , but I'm not worried ! I'm trus7ing bungie to make a good game
