Brilliant marketing by Sony. They successfully pissed off Xbox owners and others to the point where some idiots used the lack of info at hand to say "Well, now I need a Playstation." Sony banked off of the rage of morons. Their marketing worked.

Sony did a great marketing job IMO. They fooled a ton of people into thinking they were actually getting something exclusive by purchasing the game on PS4. In reality they got 4 days of extra beta and some silly timed exclusives. From a moral standpoint it was pretty low but from marketing standpoint it worked perfectly. As long as Sony did not pay much for the "exclusive" content they come out ahead. Hopefully after this people will wise up and not get taken by BS exclusives and silly beta accesses that are really not beta.

Smart marketing I'd say, considering that there were a lot of people bent out of shape thinking that these were completely exclusive.
