sounds like you're hearing things, as i loved godzilla and the toho fanbase sites that i know are majorly positive about it. on the fence! RLM was surprisingly positive on it which is a nice change of pace from things that i usually like. [spoiler]eh, it's more like a "meh" job with some really cool highlights. aside from iron man, avengers, and cap 2 i wouldn't really call any mcu film awesome. fox is like the "huh" factor dc is a literal clusterfck, and david goyer is a colossal a$$hole nowadays can't get much worse than sony though. according to a deleted tweet from landis marvel might even have the rights to spidey back.[/spoiler]

wouldn't really matter, they'd just stop filming. it's been done before, i think. not the whole "rights change during filming" thing but the "drop everything for this production," especially considering the movie is a good 2 years off.
