TR is a joke compared to Jackson. The guy had three bullets lodged in his body while he was in office, and he beat an alleged assailant senseless with his cane. He was also batshit crazy. He thought the Bank of the US was trying to kill him (For clarification: NOT LITERALLY, IDIOTS!), so he shut it down.

Theodore Roosevelt survived an attempted assassination on a way to a speech. He was shot in the chest, but decided to have his two hour speech first before seeking medical attention.
When he moved west, a group of thieves stole his boat. He built his own boat, tracked them down himself for two weeks, captured them and walked them to the nearest town.
Also, he's the only person to ever be awarded the Medal of Honor AND the Nobel Peace Prize (for his role as mediator during/after the Russo-Japanase War).
