Some are dead, some are not. In reality, new ones are created based on the fun stuff that happens in the PM's. It'll be interesting for a while, and then it will die down, only to be continued elsewhere. It's a pretty constant flow that you have to be at the right place at the right time for.

Other times you just happen to be (as stated earlier) at the right place at the right time. Their's a bit of a learning curve.
