Okay, I have this really horrible idea going on in my head atm, and it sounds pretty offensive: Is being a soldier akin to being a prositute? Thinking from a really theoretical and detached point of view, they are both some of humanities oldest professions, and in a sense resort male and female to some basic tokens; a sex object and a weapon. They are both also essentially used as tools by another party to obtain a goal, whether it be satisfaction or the securing of some land. Again, Im going about this from a distant and more historical view, the personal implications of both are much more complicated and more humane sounding. I apologise for any offence caused.
