Why do people think you can rehabilitate rapists and pedophiles?
*Note, if you don't read my whole post, don't bother replying*
Anyways, many people want to to rehabilitate rapists and pedophiles, yet say that gay people are born that way and cannot be changed. Rapists and pedophiles are born that way and cannot be changed, they will always want to hurt others no matter what you do, the same way gays will be attracted the same sex no matter what you do to them. They are both a sexual attraction in the brain that cannot be 'fixed'.
Now, I am not against gay rights, IMO they should be able to get married and do their stuff like everyone else, just stop being attention whores.
edit: Sorry I didn't mention this, but I know gay people aren't rapists. I know RC5908 thinks I'm a gay basher, but I know gay people don't hurt others. I know he will still say that I think gays are as bad as pedophiles, but IDC about his lies.

4 回复I am a big advocate for a change in the social perception of paedophilia. What this means however, is not a rehabilitation system in order to stop them being attracted to children - like you said: impossible. The idea is to get society to open up to paedophiles and offer them our hand, in order to not criminalise and alienate them and to minimise the potential for children to be harmed. Rape, though? -blam!- is to do with power, not attraction. It should be dealt with like any sort of mugging or assault, albeit more seriously.

I care about rehabilitating them personally, once you do something like to another life -blam!- you, but just like feelings and emotions can be suppressed so can -blam!-ed up urges. That all "rehabilitation for homosexuals" is, surpressing their emotions and urges.which also -blam!-ed up to make some live a life that makes them feel like that need to.

2 回复It is [i]possible[/i] to rehabilitate [i]some[/i] Paedophiles and Rapists. You can chemically castrate/physically castrate a Paedo which combined with therapy has a chance to 'fix' them. By fixing them it basically means removing all attraction from them via surgery/meds. That being said if someone touches a child - Summary Execution is too kind for them, but the best way to deal with it imo. I do mean child, not the idiotic definitions where an 18 year old and a 17 year old and all that. So literally the only 'fix'/rehab for them is to castrate them and keep them away from kids. However, someone who hasn't harmed anyone else or looked at that kind of shit online shouldn't be strung up at the gallows but offered help. But the minute they cross the line at all...

So, they're born criminals you're saying. We can't just let them run around the street яaping people. We have to do [i]something[/i]to keep people safe from them. It really is a shame we need to separate them from the public, but it keeps people safe. That's the goal.

5 回复Do you know what the fucking difference is? Gay people don't hurt anyone by having sex, but pedos and rapists do. The rehabilitation is to make them not have sex with kids again, not to make them not attracted; they will always be attracted. To reiterate: fuck you for comparing gays to rapists and pedos.
