Well today's the day. I didn't expect this for another few years, but I don't reject it.
It's bittersweet though, for me. I get to see the final conclusion, yet I lose the series I've been watching since I was 10. :(
I think it's had a good run, and I hope to see more of Jon's work in the future! Shame he's been contracted with Machinima for so long, they really treat him like shit.
Any thoughts?
It's here!

由Golden MERA编辑: 8/19/2013 4:46:20 PMWhile I understand the direction the show had been going lately and that it was pretty much appropriate to kill them off (I mean years of throwing those toys around must have done some good damage to them), I really missed when it was more light hearted and comedic. Now I'm not saying I didn't like the last couple of seasons....something about how dark some of these seasons got just felt off to me. I don't know, its just my opinion of course but I understand why he had to make the ending like that. He wanted them to go out in a blaze of glory.....I'm also thinking he did it so machinima couldn't bother him to do more seasons or create another spin off. Though from what I've heard he may still continue bytes which I haven't watched much of but are supposed to be similar to the comedic Arby n the Chief that I personally prefer so I may check that out. Either way it was a pretty great machinima which really reminded me why I used to like Machinima in the first place...before they got kind of lame.

I can't believe it. It's been 5 years since I started watching from the first Masterchief Sucks at Halo... I was 15 or 16 at the time & 3/4 of the way through high school when I started. I am now 20 and have since finished school and now have a full time job. So much has happened, so much time has passed, but I never stopped coming back to this show. I'm actually surprised by how sad I feel now that it's over. One less thing to keep looking forward to. I thought the ending was very bittersweet, yet satisfying. Seriously did not see that coming. I honestly hope Jon ends up where he wants to be, and I think this has been a great start for him. Also, to all the people watching this without seeing everything leading up to it, yeah, this will probably seem pretty horrible and morbid, but to truly understand it, you'd have to watch the series from the beginning. The story flows so naturally and gradually to this point that you don't really notice it too much, and it becomes quite gripping. I think even more so if you've been following it as long as I have. Here's to Jon and the series we fell in love with! *raises glass*

10 回复I can't wait for it, but at the same time I am really fcking melancholy about it ending. I've been a fan of the show since the first Master Chief Sucks At Halo video was uploaded and saw how it transformed from a simple, comedic guilty pleasure to quite an emotionally mature narrative which I guess you could say is like Breaking Bad + Toy Story. I don't even know what's happened to Machinima over the years... They used to be brilliant, pushing some really great and hilarious content. SodaGod's Inside Halo news show was really funny, but sadly served as the platform for the channel's decline into a mainstream news source for gaming that began to shun the creative talents of people who actually used the channel for the purpose of machinima.

3 回复Suicide Dog is by far the best Machinima video on Machinima. So much depth and emotion conveyed in such a short scene.

3 回复I've watched it on and off since the beginning, but wow, it feels kind of weird knowing it's over. I wonder what he's going to do with the figures though, I mean, he'd have to be kind of attached to them after all this time.

yeah.. I've been around pretty much since the time the original "master chief sucks at halo" had gotten fairly popular. Sad to see this all come to an end, a sad end at that. It was a good run though. Hope Jon the best of luck on his future endeavors.
