I do believe that this is what he meant when he was talking about the Sparrow. Also, he said that name was a work in progress, so we might not hear about a "Sparrow" ever again

Definitely man. The more vehicles, the more diverse the game is for players.. And Bungie has really been trying to make Destiny a different and unique experience for every Guardian. So I wouldn't be surprised to see more vehicles even if it's in the Comet add-ons.
