You're judging way too early, sir. Haven't played Borderlands yet. Heard it's got lots of guns and loot drops. So does Diablo and a ton of MMOs and RPGs. Failing to see the specific ties to Mass Effect, other than the "space magic" being purplish. ...And the concept of you flying around in space to different planets to defend all that is good in your universe... ...And fighting alien races, possibly allying with others... ...And a common human ancestry... ...And the mysterious alien artifact that your whole civilization hinges on... ...And a central hub area that's (mostly) safe from the outside... ...And set in the future... ...And a whole lot of weapons... ...Shit. But really, you could make an argument that many sci-fi games do this. Strip away the common human ancestry between games (Earth), and you could say that KoTOR/SWTOR have all of these similarities. Strip the hub world aspect and you have Halo (with that one you can add back the Earth ancestry). Strip the traveling between worlds and you have Bullet Storm, Gears of War, and others. Remove the future and aliens/alien artifacts and you have CoD. Really, any game can have similarities to another game if you let it. The difference is how game developers spin these ideas and make them their own, or even provide something entirely new and fresh that is completely away from the norm. Don't be so quick to condemn a game you haven't played yet.

They were going to force Bungie to release a Halo every six months. All of the new Halo's would be clones with no distinctive development between any two in consecutive order.

I'm putting my trust in Destiny until I can play it for myself. I don't know it'll be great for sure, but I'm supporting Bungie's progression to new places. Losing Halo was a pretty risky turn of events, but I can't blame them for now wanting to be more than just "those guys that make Halo and do nothing else."

I'm not going to bash you man. But how can you draw a conclusion based on very little game play and information? Really makes it seem like you are on here to bash on this game because you like Halo like a fanboy. Hope I didn't sound mean but at least wait for more info before you make a judgement like that. The whole "unoriginal" thing is too soon for that.
