This is bullshit! I thought that the Xbox One didn't play games! Seems the Bungie community has been lying to me.

11 回复its funny, 90% of the people on here are playstation fanboys ranting about how the xbox sucks, while all the xbox players are actually playing the system and not coming on here to rant about the playstation 4. shows which system is more mature.

3 回复1 Billion spread over 15 games, Even optimistic speculation (based on the general budgeting strategy of publishers(throw lots of money at it and hope for the best) and MS's potential exclusives(See halokinectgearskinectforzakinectkinectkinect)) doesn't look that great. my money's on five on them being good and the rest being either shovel ware, or just bad.

3 回复People keep complaining that Microsoft didn't show enough games at their conference. With E3 so close it didn't matter that much. We know (atleast I hope people know) that its already going to play games. The conference was to show off the new Xbox an what it can do. Everyone keeps saying "it just lets you watch TV and movies easier" that's stupid.

6 回复由Noshotskill编辑: 5/30/2013 12:07:01 AMAt least 50% of that will go towards 3 Halo and Gears of War titles. Microsoft spent a ton on just marketing Halo 3, Reach, and Halo 4. The 1 billion isn't very promising when you know Microsoft spends over 50 million on 1 Halo game. How do I know this? Halo 3 had a budget around 60 million, and Microsoft confirmed they spent more money on Halo 4. I also assume that Halo TV series isn't going to be cheap, especially since it can be considered part of the marketing budget on an unannounced Halo game.

We've the second highest gross investment per student. Just goes to show: Just cause you throw money at something doesn't necessarily mean you're going to get quality out of it.

To be honest, it doesn't matter how much money you spend on your products. It matters about the overall quality of the product. Just because you spend millions if not billions of dollars on your products, doesn't mean it will be any good (looks at Transformers, Avatar, Waterworld).

So two television shows, developing Kinect games, two more Halo games (at least, they said they want one every year), Gears of War, etc. 1 Billion isn't that much when compared to how much AAA games cost now.

由Skitzy Skitzo编辑: 5/30/2013 4:22:16 AMDon't some major titles (GTA IV) cost up to and over a hundred mill now? I get that Microsoft is not completely responsible for developer cost decisions and such but is 1 Billion really that much in the grand scheme of things? I'm being serious. I don't really understand certain worlds and Microsoft/Developer costs to profits is one of them.
