Couldn't think/don't know the name given to the health care which is owned by the private sector, but I imagine people will get what I mean.
Anyway, out of these two health care systems, which one do you support more?

1 回复I would love to see a taxpayer-subsidized healthcare system that gave the same quality care as the current US system.

14 回复My parents shouldn't have to pay for other peoples healthcare when our own healthcare is so damn high. If someone has cancer in your family, you shouldn't have to pay for others

12 回复The more fiscally successful you are, the more expensive socialized healthcare gets. I can't imagine why people wouldn't support a private healthcare system. The thing that bugs the shit out of me is that so many "poor" people still own relatively decent cars and decent things (e.g. good televisions, etc.). They shouldn't be receiving shit in entertainment or non-necessities if they say they can't afford their own healthcare.

A mix of the two. There really is no argument for exclusively either. It's quite simple to have a public option while supplying extended coverage to citizens who can afford to pay more. Take a look at the system implemented in Australia.

由TheBrandingIron编辑: 2/22/2013 2:23:13 AMCapitalist but it needs a lot of reform and I don't have the energy to type out all of my fixes for it. But it does need tort reform. Lawyers and malpractice are a huge problem. Lots of expensive, but often times unnecessary testing is done defensively.

3 回复Capitalist lol Liberals who want to steal money from hard working Americans and give to the lazy. Poor people got themselves there, and didn't do anything about it, just whined for you pussy liberals to shower them in love and flowers and coins. Probably same people who think minorities should be superior and want to have disregard religioun and tradition so homos can marry. You people are stupid. You're in the wrong country if you want minorities and homos running around getting money for nothing.

3 回复Why not both? Universal healthcare so nobody is left to die, with higher-quality private care available to those with the money. Everybody wins.
-
3 回复People with a basic understanding of health care markets know universal health insurance is a more efficient system and vastly cheaper. Forget the morality. The universal system, in some form because they aren't all the same, is cheaper more efficient and covers everyone. It's shocking to hear that for some people. It's actually cheaper to cover everyone than having a private market where customers buy from insurance providers.
