I just don't think they'll put a Beta out for the first game of their new IP. It think they'll want it all to be fresh for the masses come launch day. I would assume they would have done major testing internally and getting external parties and maybe even the 7 golden ticket holders. If it's launching on multiple consoles, maybe even next-gen consoles it'll be hard to test that on mass. If they end up doing an open beta; It would be cool if those who stuck around during the darkness got it a week before the rest of the world gets it. We'll have to wait and see. If they're still aiming for the 2013 release, they'll have to do a beta pretty soon. So we would expect it to be announced along with the reveal next week.
