I liked the original scene better. In the Kai scene he didn't need to say he's going Kaioken because everyone knows that. I also liked the music in the original better. The music in Kai sounds almost cheerful during an intense scene like that.

The I prefer the kai music because it fits much better with the scenes, and the music playing is more of a heroic theme, which matches perfectly with Goku going completely all out on Frieza
